Plateau Attorney General visits Police Commissioner, seek ways to restore Peace in State

The Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice, Barr. Philemon Daffi has visited the Plateau State Commissioner of Police, CP Hassan Steve Yabanet, at the Command headquarters, in Jos to seek ways of restoring peace in the state.

The visit also aimed at consolidating on the relationship that exists between the Police and the ministry, considering the relevance of both agencies to restoring peace on the Plateau. 

The Attorney General used the occasion to welcomed the CP to Plateau State and discussed ways through which the two agencies can work together towards a common good and justice to all in the state.

Statement by the Command Spokesperson, DSP Alfred Alabo said,  the Attorney General assured the CP of the ministry’s readiness to train Police officers on investigation and prosecution of criminal cases where he requested that the Command should send investigators to the ministry for training.

The Commissioner of Police,CP Hassan Yabanet, assured the Attorney General that the Command under his leadership would uphold the rule of law and ensure a better administration of Justice on the Plateau.
